Fans as well as theatre staff made use of HMT’s funky 80s-themed props before seeing Footloose last night (Tuesday July 26).

His Majesty’s invited theatre-goers to dig out their leg warmers and join them for the ultimate 80s experience.

Featuring popular decade-appropriate tunes, fun photo opportunities and even themed cocktails, Aberdeen fans enjoyed the 80s extravaganza.

We dropped by the theatre to catch some of the fans as they made their way in to enjoy the show starring JLS’s Aston Merrygold as Willard.

Our photographer Paul Glendell went along and even persuaded Darren Day – who plays the Reverend Moore in Footloose – to pose for the camera.
