Police are appealing for witnesses after an early-morning road rage assault on an Aberdeenshire road.
An 18-year-old man suffered head injuries in the incident, which followed a minor crash between a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Range Rover.
The accident happened on the B9077 South Deeside Road at its junction with the B979 Netherley Road.
Hundreds of pounds of damage was caused to the Corsa.
Police now want to speak to the driver of the Range Rover, who is described as being aged between 20-30 year, about 6ft and of large, muscular build. He had short, fair hair and stubble.
A police spokeswoman said: “The incident is believed to have happened between 7:40am and 8:00am on Thursday, January 15 following a minor road traffic collision.
“An 18 year old man was assaulted and suffered minor head injuries as a result.”
Police have urged anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 101.
