More than £10,000 of illegal drugs have been seized after a police raid in the Woodside area of Aberdeen.
Cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £10,250 were recovered from a property on Deer Road on Friday night.
Around £2,500 in cash was also discovered, a spokeswoman for Police Scotland said.
A 32-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Councillor Kirsty Blackman, who represents Hilton, Woodside and Stockethill, praised police for the “significant find”.
She said: “I would say very well done to the police for this significant find.
“The work that goes into recoveries like this is very high.
“Taking this amount of drugs off the streets will also impact on other areas like anti-social behaviour which will benefit all residents of Woodside.
“It is absolutely imperative that all local residents report any suspicions they have to police.”
