Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and electrical goods have been stolen from a house in Lumphanan.
Thieves broke into the property, causing more than £100 worth of damage, last Tuesday between 7am and 7.45pm.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, or who saw anything suspicious in the area to come forward.
Constable Robert Graham, who is investigating the crime, added: “I would also like to take this opportunity to remind local residents to ensure that their properties, access points to their land and their vehicles are secured at all times.”
