Union Grove was closed after officers were called at around 4.25pm. Police say the young man was “compliantly detained” and that there was “no threat to the public” during the incident. A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland responded to concerns for a 19-year-old male at around 16:25 in Union Grove. “A number of police resources were involved and the male was compliantly detained. “There was no threat to any members of the public. “The road is now clear for traffic.”
