The busy road was closed for over seven hours after a man was killed when he was struck by the vehicle on the busy road close to Kintore. Commuters faced huge delays as a large part of the dual carriageway near Tavelty Junction was closed while police carried out investigations. A diversion was in place with access to the A96 via ramps nearby. Emergency services were on scene from around 2.30am until 9.45am to assist with the incident. A spokesperson for the police said: “We If anyone has information regarding the incident, please get in touch with us on 101.”
