A car caught fire at an Aberdeen park today – with the flames quickly spreading to four other parked vehicles.
Police and the fire service were called out to reports of one car on fire at Hazlehead Park at about 1.30pm.
But by the time the emergency services arrived at the scene, the blaze had spread.
The front of a Vauxhall Astra was totally burnt out, while the back of a black Range Rover appeared to have melted – with the registration plate lying curled up on the tarmac.
A Vauxhall Zafira and a Toyota Lexus were among the other vehicles damaged.

Using a hose reel and two breathing apparatus, the crew extinguished the fire within five minutes.
The fire was identified as being caused by an electrical fault in one of the cars.
Altens fire team left the scene at around 2.45pm but police officers remained in attendance until 3.30pm.
A police spokesman said: “Officers helped to trace the owners of the other vehicles.”
There were no reported injuries.
