Two fire engines and police were called to the runway just after 9.30am. A police spokeswoman said: “We were made aware of concerns for a helicopter coming into land at 9.33am. “Emergency procedures were activated as standard, and the aircraft landed safely.” The chopper is now undergoing an inspection to reveal the cause of the warning light illumination.
