A car and tractor collided on a busy north-east road today.
The A90 Aberdeen to Ellon road was closed for more than two hours at the Cock and Bull, near Balmedie, after the crash, which happened at about 3.10pm.
Nobody was seriously injured in the incident, which involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and green and yellow tractor.
But the tractor came to a stop blocking both carriageways forcing motorists to take a lengthy circular detour around Potterton and towards Pitmedden.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene.
A fire spokeswoman said: “We sent two crews from Central.
“The persons were out their vehicles before we got there, so we made the scene safe.”
An ambulance spokeswoman said the team was still at the scene, but confirmed there was one patient.
