Police are advising motorists on the A90 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road to expect delays, as they deal with two breakdowns. The crane has broken down in the southbound nearside lane at Tesco Extra, Newtonhill. And the lorry got into difficulty on the northbound side of the carriageway, near the Muirend Road entrance to Portlethen. Police are advising drivers to use the Cookston Road entrance to Portlethen, and thereafter Bruntland Road to access the A90 south. Officers are also urging drivers heading towards Newtonhill to approach with care and slow down before they reach the crane.
