Congestion after two cars crash on busy Aberdeen junction

A major Aberdeen junction experienced heavy congestion last night following a two-vehicle collision.

Police, fire and ambulance teams were called to the scene of the crash where North Anderson Drive meets the Lang Stracht at 6.40pm.

The two cars involved – a black BMW and the green Ford Fiesta – had to be uplifted from the scene, but nobody was injured.

A police spokeswoman said: “Both vehicles received heavy damage.”
