Four fire appliances have been called to a house blaze in Aberdeenshire.
Around 27 firefighters were called to the building off the B976 Banchory to Ballater road, near Strachan, when it caught fire at around 4pm.
Four fire appliances, two from Banchory and others from Aboyne and Stonehaven, have now brought the fire under control.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “It is a dwelling fire, we have four fire engines there plus a water carrier, incident support vehicles and an incident command unit.”
The road has been closed from the Feughside Inn to the Strachan junction.
Police were also called to the scene.
A police spokeswoman said: “There was a road closure put in place at the Feughside Inn. It was a property at Castlehill.
“The road is still closed. The council put in place road diversions. We were called at 4.25pm.”
