The north-east public have been invited to share their views on Aberdeen City Council’s plans for the future of a flood-prone beauty spot.
The proposals for the Seaton Park Wetlands Project are linked to the authority’s nature conservation and open space strategies which aim to improve access to the outdoors.
Experts at Walking the Talk and Cbec eco-engineering have produced detailed design ideas for the area.
Local residents are invited to view the options on display at Lidl in King Street until Thursday, the nearby Brig O’ Don Restaurant from until Sunday and St Machar Cathedral for four days from Monday.
People can also take part online.
The park, on the banks of the River Don, has become susceptible to flooding in recent years.
Attempts to drain the affected areas have so far only been temporarily successful.
Neil Cooney, the local authority’s communities, housing and infrastructure convener, said: “The views of the local community are vital to this process and I would encourage everyone with an interest in Seaton Park to have a look at the design options for the wetland area and take part in the consultation.”
