Lewis Capaldi has sold out his forthcoming Aberdeen gig in just 10 minutes this morning (October 28).
With the pre-sale for the UK and Irish leg of his European tour selling out in mere seconds after being released earlier this week, fans were eager to snap up the remaining tickets when they went on general sale at 9am today.
As expected, Aberdeen music fans were quick to sell out the 15,000-capacity P&J Live.
The singer’s whole UK tour has now sold out, with Lewis tweeting he was “completely lost for words”.
Louise Stewart, interim managing director at P&J Live, said: “The response has been phenomenal. Fans didn’t let us down, snapping up the last remaining Lewis Capaldi tickets in just a few minutes this morning.
“His January show is now completely sold out and will see a capacity 15,000 crowd attend P&J Live.
“This will also equal the current Scottish indoor crowd record held by Gerry Cinnamon when he sold out his Aberdeen show back in 2019. We can’t wait to see what’s in store – it’s going to be a brilliant night.”
Those lucky to buy tickets for Capaldi’s tour can look forward to a night of great music and the singer’s signature humour when he takes to the P&J Live stage on Monday January 23.
The singer confirmed he would not be adding more dates to his upcoming tour.
His Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent tour will mark the first time the Scottish singing sensation will perform at the Aberdeen venue following his March 2020 gig – the last P&J Live show before the UK went into lockdown.
His album is due to be released on May 19 next year.
