North-east residents are being invited to help shape the future of healthcare in the region.
From April next year, adult health and social care services will be delivered jointly by NHS Grampian and Aberdeenshire Council.
Before the partnership is officially launched, both organisations are developing a local plan and asking individuals and communities for their input.
Community events have been organised across Aberdeenshire, with the first taking place at MacRobert Hall in Tarland on Tuesday, March 3.
Adam Coldwells, chief officer of Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “Throughout March we will be developing our draft strategic plan for the partnership.
“This will set out how services will be delivered and the key priorities for health and social care in Aberdeenshire.
“We are keen that local people, community groups and key stakeholders all have an opportunity to discuss the changes and challenges ahead and more importantly help identify priorities.
“I would encourage everyone to go along to one of the events so the plan reflects the views of people who deliver and those who require health and social care services.”
It is understood a draft strategic plan could be submitted to the Scottish Government in October.
A total of 12 events are taking place across the region during March.
