There is disruption both ways on the A93 Aberdeen to Perth road with snow gate closures in place at Glenshee and Fettercairn. The A947 Aberdeen to Banff road had been closed just south of Newmachar due to an earlier accident but has now been re-opened. In Hatton, a road block between Station road and Hobshill Place remains in place due to Wednesday’s church fire. It is said to be causing large congestion issues in the town. Temporary traffic lights in Turriff also continue to cause congestion to pile up on the B9025, at the Deveron Bridge junction. In Aberdeen, the usual traffic is building up around Market Street, Danestone and Union Street. The usual congestion can be expected around Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard. Long term roadworks are in place at Machar Drive, which could cause delays. Elsewhere, there’s the usual heavy traffic on the A90 southbound between Foveran and Ellon
