As these pictures show, the silver Ford Fiesta was left a mangled mess just inches away and landed just inches away from a house. The accident, involving a silver Ford Fiesta and a van, happened on the A952 in Lonmay at around 5.15am. The driver of the Fiesta, believed to be a 19-year-old man, is understood to have lost control on the ice. There were no serious injuries as a result of the accident.
