Two men have been charged following a drugs seizure at a property in Aberdeen worth £50,000.

Police confirmed that two men, aged 44 and 21, were charged after officers found drugs at a property on Gardner Road on Friday.

Quantities of crack cocaine, cocaine, diamorphine, cash and drug dealing paraphernalia worth £50,000 were recovered in the raid.

The recovery was part of a County Lines drugs operation in coordination with Merseyside Police.

Police say the men were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.

DC Karen Maxwell, North East Division CID, said: “I would like to thank our colleagues at Merseyside Police for assisting with this operation.

“Our partnership approach shows our commitment to disrupting those involved in operating and profiting from the sale of illegal and harmful substances.

“We will continue to tackle the exploitation of vulnerable members of our communities in the north-east of Scotland.

“If anyone has any concerns regarding the abuse of controlled drugs, or anyone who may be involved in the supply of controlled drugs, please contact Police Scotland on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
