Independent fashion store Attic will open its new shop on Union Street this week.
The shop is relocating from the Academy Shopping Centre on Belmont Street.
It will open tomorrow.
After operating out of The Academy for over 20 years, the store was one of the last retailers open in the small shopping centre.
The move follows after Craig McLaughlin, owner of the store, spoke to The P&J in June this year mentioning the impact of decreasing footfall in the city.
While he said city events encouraged more people into the city centre, Mr McLaughlin added Aberdeen needed more content “to get back to where it needs to be”.
The Belmont Street store is closed today ahead of the grand opening tomorrow.
However, the brand’s other store in Inverurie is open as usual.
