It’s lovely weather for a virtual reality sleigh ride together in Aberdeenshire this festive season.
Simpsons Garden Centre in Mintlaw has launched a new attraction that will let families journey to the North Pole to help Santa prepare for his big trip on Christmas Eve.
The sleigh ride is fully immersive experience with virtual reality goggles and a moving sleigh – so little ones will feel like they’re really helping the big guy out.
It will open on November 1 and run until December 24, and everyone who takes a ride will get a commemorative photo and certificate.
This is only one part of the festive celebrations at Simpsons, so there is lots to do after your trip.
The shop has been doused in Christmas spirit, with numerous displays, singing animatronics and a festive afternoon tea due to start on December 1 – which is expected to be very popular.
Marketing manager Siobhan MacBean said: “We all need something to look forward to this year, and the garden centre is the perfect place for locals and visitors from further afield to come to and enjoy everything we have to offer at this time of year.
“The new VR sleigh experience really is magical for young and old – and we hope everyone enjoys this amazing adventure.”
