Crowds have gathered across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to remember those who gave their lives during the First and Second World War and other conflicts across the world.
Today was the first time large Remembrance Sunday events could take place since Covid.
And communities turned out in their thousands right across the north-east to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Aberdeen remembrance service
A military parade took place in Aberdeen where wreaths were laid at the war memorial in Schoolhill.
Veterans held standards outside Cowdray Hall while poppy wreaths were placed at the foot of the monument in a poignant service.

Inverurie remembrance parade
The Inverurie parade headed to the war memorial on Market Place to pay their respects to servicemen and women.
Bagpipers marched through the streets in military uniform as crowds flocked to the war memorial to place wreaths and wooden crosses with the names of lost loved ones.

Fraserburgh remembrance parade
Fraserburgh veterans and residents also took to the streets and their war memorial to show their respects to the fallen heroes of the World Wars.
