The stage is set for a one-off evening of spellbinding entertainment as the Aberdeen Magical Society makes a welcome post-Covid return.

The society, which was founded in 1926, will hold its annual social night next week to bring a touch of magic back to Aberdeen.

Eight of the region’s top magic acts will perform on the night, including Fifth Dimension, Carl Howse (aka The Great Hootini) and Garry Seagraves.

Garry Seagraves, president of Aberdeen Magical Society, said: “The Aberdeen Magical Society Social Night is the highlight of our programme every year, as it allows our members to share their passion for magic with the public.

“The Social Night will feature eight fantastic acts, each with their own unique style and skills.

“While we had to take a couple of years off due to the pandemic, it’s amazing to be returning to perform together again.”

Magicians Scott Clegg and Jono Geary (aka Magic Jono) complete the line-up for the evening of awe-inspiring entertainment which will be hosted by the society’s vice president Dave Goulding.

Garry added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for an evening of top-quality entertainment, featuring brilliant performers from across the north-east.
