Traffic is heavy in the west of Aberdeen due to an emergency road closure.
Drivers using both Skene Road and King’s Gate this morning should expect delays as there are reports of long queues in the area.
This is due to King’s Gate being closed between Stronsay Drive and Queens Road.
It is understood the section of the road has been closed to westbound traffic since around 8pm last night after a fault was detected in an SSE electrical cable.
There have been no reports of power outages in the area as a result and engineers are on scene to fix the problem.
Kings Gate is currently closed to westbound traffic from Queens Road roundabout to Stronsay Drive due to an SSE electricity cable fault. Engineers are currently at the scene.
