Emergency services were called to a seven-vehicle crash in Aberdeen earlier today.
The incident, which involved a Royal Mail lorry, happened near Sainsbury’s on Wellington Road at around 8.45am.
Officers confirmed nobody has been hurt in the crash, however, one lane of the road remained closed to traffic for about three hours to allow the recovery of the vehicles.
Images show extensive damages caused to the the front side of the Royal Mail truck. It is unknown whether the incident has affected mail services.
A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with road traffic offence.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to reports of a seven-vehicle crash on Wellington Road, Aberdeen, at around 8.45am on Wednesday, November 16.
“There were no reports of injuries.
“A 38-year-old man was charged in connection with road traffic offences.”
