A development group in the north-east’s largest town is launching a community survey to set the course of future projects
The Here For You Partnership is a joint initiative between Peterhead Projects and Fraserburgh Development Trust.
The organisations have overseen a whole host of projects including a community caravan park in Peterhead and the nationally-recognised Super Saturday scheme in Fraserburgh.
Now the Neighbourhood Survey in Peterhead will ask how residents feel about their immediate area, health and wellbeing, education and training, employment and crime and community safety.
Simon Bedford, Here For You social regeneration officer, said: “We would also like to know whether residents are aware of local support organisations and how we can improve future employability and family welfare support.
“Evidence collected will inform the development of sustainable projects for short to long term support that focus on social regeneration of the neighbourhoods that have the greatest impact on educatio and/skills, economic and health outcomes, ultimately leading to the long term sustainability and wellbeing of communities.”
Volunteers will undertake door-to-door surveys shortly.
