Communities have pulled together after being battered by rain for much of the weekend.
Severe flood warnings were issued for the first time in seven years on Friday, putting towns and villages devastated by Storm Frank on high-alert.
Ballater, Kintore and Inverurie were hit with a deluge of water on Friday and into Saturday morning, but by late in the day much of that had receded – allowing the clean up to begin.
Locals rallied to help in the effort, as some of our pictures show.
