Status Quo will soon be rocking all over Aberdeen.

The band will bring their Out Out Quoing tour to the north-east later this week, and we have a feeling their very special guest will spread festive cheer in the Granite City.

Here’s everything you need to know about Status Quo’s Aberdeen gig.

When and where will Status Quo perform?

Status Quo will bring their Out Out Quoing tour to Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Friday November 25. Doors open at 6pm and the support act will take to the stage at 7.30pm. Status Quo will then kick off their set at 9pm and the show should end around 10.30pm.

What is the band best known for?

Founded by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster, Status Quo originated in London as The Scorpions. As of 2022, the group has been active for 60 consecutive years and is best known for their hits such as Rockin’ All Over the World, Whatever You Want, In the Army Now and many more.

Who’s the support act?

Status Quo will be supported by Michael Barratt – better known by his stage name Shakin’ Stevens – who was the UK’s biggest-selling singles artist of the 1980s.

He said: “Who could refuse an invitation from Status Quo, to once again get back on the road and rock!”

The Welsh singer and songwriter is probably best known for his hit Merry Christmas Everyone.
