The Met Office and Sepa are warning of heavy rain and flooding across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Orkney this evening.
A yellow weather warning for rain, covering most of the north-east and Orkney will be in place from 12pm on Tuesday, November 22, until at least 11pm.
In addition, flood alerts have also been issued for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, which covers towns like Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Ballater, Banff, Stonehaven and Inverurie.
Sepa has also issued a flood alert for all of Orkney, warning of localised flooding after heavy rain.
The Met Office is warning of potential travel disruption due to rain, with ferry crossings between Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland also being affected.
Low-lying areas could be most affected by heavy rain, including the Churchill Barriers in Orkney and the communities close to the river banks in Aberdeenshire.
The Met Office is forecasting heavy rain for the majority of Tuesday afternoon and into the evening, with Wednesday to be more cold and frosty than rainy.
It follows severe flooding last Thursday and Friday which resulted in widespread travel disruption.
Ferries and trains were cancelled while major roads were closed off due to flooding from the Rivers Don, Dee and North Esk.

More heavy rain expected for the Aberdeenshire and Orkney.
Heavy flooding resulted in the disappearance of a woman from Monymusk near Inverurie on Friday afternoon.
Coastguard rescue teams are still carrying out searches throughout the area to try and locate the missing woman identified as Hazel Nairn.
Over the weekend, clean-up efforts began in north-east communities to salvage possessions from their homes.
The new warnings of more flooding will likely dishearten many residents just beginning to recover from last week’s flood.
