The funeral of a north-east dad killed in a quad biking accident will be held this week.
Graham Murison died last Saturday after an accident at the Buchan Off-Road Motorcycle Club near Pennan.
The 34-year-old – who was engaged to Jayne and had four children, Alexander, Abigail, Katie and Owen – ran his own engineering and fabrication firm.
With more than 15 years’ experience in steelwork, Mr Murison was well known in Banffshire as a craftsman who earned the respect of local farmers and fishermen.
He enjoyed going quad biking to switch off from work.
Friends and family described him as one of life’s “good guys”, and said he had a “brilliant character”.
Speaking from the family home in Gamrie last week, Mr Murison’s parents Pat and Derek said he was a popular, well-thought of man, who was never too busy to help others.
His funeral will be held in the Banff Springs Hotel on Thursday at 11am. Entrance is by the Deveron Suite door only.
Thereafter, Mr Murison will be buried at Gamrie Churchyard.
His family have said mourners do not need to wear black.
