Fire breaks out at student flats in Aberdeen

Fire and rescue crews were called to a blaze in a student flat earlier tonight.

Three engines from Central and North Anderson Drive stations were dispatched at around 10.35pm to deal with the fire, at an address in King Street.

The fire was under control shortly thereafter and crews have now left the scene.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire, which has been described as minor.
