Emergency services are at the scene of a lorry fire on a busy north-east road.
The incident happened northbound on the A90 Perth – Aberdeen road at Portlethen shortly after 11.45am, when a lorry burst its tyre and its trailer burst into flames.
Police and fire and rescue service have been called out to the accident.
The northbound carriageway is completely blocked and could potentially be closed to let emergency vehicles through.
Traffic will be diverted at Badentoy through Portlethen and will rejoin the A90 at the new flyover north of Portlethen.
Police say there no injuries as a result of the incident.
