Specially trained police continued their search for missing Monymusk woman Hazel Nairn yesterday.
Searches were carried out between Kintore and Dyce, a week after she went missing during bad weather across the north-east.
The 71-year-old was last seen in water in the River Don, near Monymusk at about 3.05pm on Friday, November 18.
Local officers were supported by specialist search officers from the police‘s operational support division, dive and marine unit and the air support unit respectively.
Inspector Rhona Di Meola said: “Since Hazel was last seen, extensive police searches have been carried out, including the use of the police helicopter and specialist resources.
“Every effort is being made to find her as we know how distressing this is for her family and friends.”
