Santa gets to meet brothers Franklyn and Cameron Hossack, aged 6 & 4
Stonehaven is all ready for the festive season as the town’s Christmas lights were switched on last night.
The switch-on was organised by Stonehaven and District Lions Club, with help from a number of local community groups.
Stonehaven Business Association funded the supply, maintenance and erection of the lights, while the Christmas tree was funded by Stonehaven and District Community Council.
At the event, a number of stalls were out, including mulled wine and mince pies being served by the town‘s Rotary Club.
The day was hosted by STV presenter, Andrea Brymer, with the switch-on being conducted by Barbara Maclean, who is the manager of local charity shop and foodbank Far and Wide.
