A convoy system will be in operation on a major north-east road next week while resurfacing work is carried out.
Overnight works will be completed on two sections of the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road, near Huntly.
The £540,000 project will be carried out between December 5 and December 15.
Amey will be operating a convoy will be in place from 7.30pm until 6am each day.
The first scheme covers around half a mile on the carriageway between Bin Forest and the Drumdelgie junction.
This is scheduled to be completed by December 12 if weather conditions allow.
Motorists are advised that access to and from the Drumdelgie junction will be restricted at times, with a diversion in place via the A920 Dufftown to Huntly road.
The second stretch to be resurfaced is between the Bin Forest walks and the B9022.
Lanes will also be closed during the day with temporary traffic lights in place
All traffic management should be removed by 6am on Thursday, December 15.
