The trailer for the long-awaited drama The Rig has been released.
The highly anticipated thriller, set on a North Sea oil rig, stars Scottish actors Martin Compston and Iain Glen.
The six-part drama will launch on January 6.
In the show, the crew are working on the Kinloch Bravo oil rig but when they are due to be collected and returned to the mainland, a mysterious fog rolls through.
The rig is hit by massive tremors and they find themselves cut off from all communication. A major accident then happens, forcing them to question who they can really trust.
Mark Addy and Emily Hampshire also star in the show, which has been written by David Macpherson.
Officially released pictures show Ms Hampshire and Iain Glen on the Amazon Prime series.
The series is produced by Wild Mercury Productions and was filmed at First Stage Studios and at several exterior locations in Edinburgh.
