A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van on the Lang Stracht in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the city road, near Lidl, just before 7am on Wednesday.
Traffic on the road was heavy in the hours following the incident but now appears to have returned to normal.
A police spokesman said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a van and a female pedestrian on Lang Stracht in Aberdeen around 6.55am on Wednesday November 30.
“The woman is to be taken to hospital for treatment.”
The extent of the woman’s injuries are not yet known.
