Only one day left till the weekend officially begins, and even more good news for commuters as there aren’t any major incidents causing chaos on north-east roads this morning.
Usual congestion is building up in the city centre at the Beach Boulevard, Market Street and Union Street.
Traffic is also slowing down at the Powis Terrace junction in Kittybrewster, and northbound on North Anderson Drive between Westburn Road and the Haudagain Roudabout.
Minor queues are also forming between Westhill and Kingswells as usual, as well as congestion on the A90 northbound between Charlestown junction and Park Street south of the city.
And in Aberdeenshire tailbacks are present between Inverurie and Port Elphinstone on the A96, in addition to the usual queues at the Whiteford turn off in Pitcaple.
And in the north-east congestion is building up on the A952 north of Mintlaw at the Longside Road junction.
And heavier traffic is forming in Inverness, mainly at the A9 Kessock Bridge, where a high wind warning is in place, and longer queues between Rose Street Roundabout and Longman Roundabout.
Update: The B9005 east of Ellon has been closed following a two vehicle collision that resulted in two people being taken to ARI
