It looks like Spring is finally starting to take hold, as not a flake of snow is forecast for the rest of the evening.
But unfortunately, it looks like it’s warm enough for rain, and plenty of heavy showers are forecast for much of the West Coast and central Highlands this afternoon and evening.
The heavy rain will clear up this evening and overnight, but better pack your brolly if you live on the West Coast and Islands tomorrow as heavy rainfall is forecast to last all day and night.
But the skies are clear above Aberdeen and the north-east coast this morning, and the sunshine is expected to continue until later this afternoon, with a minimum temperature a relatively toasty 4C, with risks of rain expected later in the evening.
