The incident took place between 10pm on Sunday, March 8 and 6am the next day at Cairnton Farm, located on the B993 Inverurie to Kemnay Road. The sheep can be identified through their distinct blue numbers stamped on their backs, ranging from 12 and 72. They are all double EID tagged too. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland or Rory Gregor on 07963207218. A 4×4 vehicle with trailer was believed to have been involved, which police are keen to trace. PC Sam Goldie said: “This incident will be of great concern to local farmers and as such they are asked to be extra vigilant with their livestock.”
