A man has been charged after CCTV cameras captured footage of a van crashing into the back of a motorcyclist and driving away from the scene.
Nobody was injured as a result of the accident, which took place outside of the Lalombarda restaurant at Union Street end of King Street.
After hitting the back of the biker, who was launched into the back of a car stopped in front, the driver of the van made a three point turn and drove away from the scene.
A police spokesman said: “A 36-year-old man has been charged and will be reported in relation to a road traffic offence which took place at around 6pm on Sunday, March 8, in the King Street area of Aberdeen.”
