Temperatures plummeted to -17.3C overnight in Braemar as snow continued to sweep Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands and Islands. Met Office weather warnings for the regions have now been extended to Friday with the cold weather due to continue. However, some have also been taking the opportunity to have some fun in the snow with many schools shut across the regions. These are some of the best photos from across the Highlands, Aberdeenshire and Moray today.
