The P&J attended gigs at the Music Hall, The Lemon Tree, and P&J Live in Aberdeen and Caledonian Stadium in Inverness to review the shows and take pics of fans arriving and singing along to their favourite songs.

Deacon Blue: May 6 @ P&J Live
The Scottish superstars finally brought their Cities Of Love tour to the north-east in May – months after postponing their 2021 show last minute. The band will return to P&J Live with their All The Old 45s Tour on October 13 next year.

Bryan Adams: May 22 @ P&J Live
The Canadian singer finally brought his tour to the north-east in May 2022 – two years after originally planned.
Our photographer Scott Baxter was there to capture the fans singing along to some of Bryan Adams’ biggest hits including Summer of ’69 and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.

Andrea Bocelli: July 1 @ Caledonian Stadium
Tenor superstar Andrea Bocelli made his Inverness debut earlier this year. The Italian operatic tenor and multi-instrumentalist, who was born visually impaired and became blind at the age of 12, thrilled music fans in Inverness.

Duran Duran: July 2 @ Caledonian Stadium
The much-anticipated show saw the English new romantic band play Inverness for the first time in their long-spanning career. And the pop megastars delivered a great show, leaving their fans ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ for more.

Machine Head: September 4 @ The Lemon Tree
Machine Head delighted Aberdeen fans when they announced an intimate gig at The Lemon Tree as a warm-up for their European tour. Tickets sold out within minutes and fans crammed into the iconic Aberdeen venue to rock out with one of the biggest heavy metal bands in the world. Photos from this gig were taken by Andy Thorn.

Boyzlife: October 7 @ Music Hall
Boyzlife treated Aberdeen music fans to the ultimate 90s and 00s nostalgia in October. Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden played their feel-good music with great guitar solos and catchy choruses to the delighted north-east audience.

The music legend that is Sir Rod Stewart rolled into P&J Live earlier this month to the delight of his fans. Running through his extensive back catalogue of timeless hits, the hugely-popular singer offered up a great night of entertainment.

The Proclaimers: December 17 @ P&J Live
Did you walk 500 miles to see The Proclaimers rock P&J Live in Aberdeen? Famous for their smash hit I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), the Reid brothers have been entertaining fans all over the world for the past three decades and the P&J Live gig was no exception.
