Crathes Castle adventure park offers chance to design skateboard zip deck
By
Bosses at an Aberdeenshire adventure park are inviting members of the public to come up with a new design for part of a popular attraction.
The team behind Crathes Castle’s Go Ape Tree Top Adventure course are seeking fresh ideas for the skateboard deck of their popular skateboard zip line.
Site manager, Mick Rimmer, said: “We’re looking forward to the new season at Go Ape and thought this was the ideal time to include a new design on the deck of the skateboard.
“The skateboard’s deck is 78cm (31ins) long and 18cm (7ins) wide and the winning design should either incorporate ideas from the local area or be inspired by Go Ape and its ethos of ‘living life adventurously’.
“Our favourite entry will be incorporated onto the new deck and the winner and their family will be invited to the course to be the first to ride the new skateboard zip.”
To enter email your design to crathes@goape.co.uk. All entries must be sent before April 1.
