Hundreds of people got into the festive groove on Saturday as a popular Christmas carol concert returned.
Bon Accord Silver Band held three shows at Duthie Park’s Winter Gardens, performing favourites like Hark the Herald Angel Sings, Away in a Manager, Jingle Bells and Rudolph and the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Albyn School’s Capriccio Choir also sang a selection of festive tunes.
Conductor Richard Kidd – kitted out in one of his infamous Christmas suits – then led the band through their ever popular mash-up of Christmas songs and Jingle Bell Swing to bring the concert to an end.
Last year the band was so determined to put on the show despite Covid restrictions that they performed at Duthie Park’s bandstand – with hardy fans wrapping up warm and even taking deckchairs to sing-along.
Our photographer Wullie Marr was there to capture the moment.
