Officers from the West End Community Policing Team (CPT) came across 10 unlocked vehicles while carrying out the operation on Sunday. The owners of the cars were contacted and given security advice to ensure they do not become victims of opportunistic thieves in the future. The initiative was carried out as part of Operation Quarterlight, the police’s nationwide response to car crime. Anyone with information about these crimes should call 101.
