Two teenagers have been found guilty of stealing a super car and luxury 4×4 from one of Aberdeen’s richest areas.
Conor Smart and Jason Grant appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, where they were accused of stealing a £100,000 Lamborghini and a £70,000 BMW X5 from a house in Oakhill Grange while the owners slept inside.
The pair denied the four charges against them, which also included stealing a television, a handbag containing £200 in cash, a wallet with £300 in it, four iPhones and three iPads.
Both men’s defence agents had lodged special defences of alibi.
And Grant’s solicitor had also lodged a special defence of incrimination.
After a trial lasting three days, a jury returned a majority verdict and found the pair guilty of all charges.
Sheriff Graham Buchanan deferred sentence on the pair till a later date for background reports.
