The Deeside Way 33 mile race took place this weekend for the sixth consecutive year, with a record 334 participants.
Known as the D33 Ultra, the event sees runners go from Duthie Park to Banchory and back, going a total of 33 miles.
Competitors turned up from 7.30am and the race got underway at 9am.
All of the runners who reached the finish line had reached the three quarter mark by 2.30pm.
This year’s lady’s winner was Joanna Wilson:
There is no entry requirement for the race and anyone is invited to turn up on the day, though this year the standard was high as all but six of those who began made it to the finish line.
