The Stonehaven Nippy Dip returned – with more than 200 fundraisers taking the plunge.

Wearing swimsuits, pink tutus and even Santa hats the hardy souls raced into the harbour as spectators cheered them on.

It is the first time the popular New Year’s Day event, organised by Stonehaven Community Council, has been held since 2020 due to Covid.

All money raised from the event will go to the Stonehaven 24-hour Public Access Defibrillators Fund and Christmas Tree Lights Fund.
