An investigation has been launched into the source of a fire at an Aberdeen flat this afternoon.
Fire, police and ambulance teams were called to Summerfield Terrace at 1.50pm to tackle a flat blaze.
Three fire appliances were sent to the scene, where they extinguished the fire in the ground floor flat in just under an hour.
A Scottish fire and Rescue Service fire investigation vehicle is currently at the scene, and police are currently interviewing witnesses of the incident.
It is currently unknown if anyone has been hurt as a result of the fire.
Mike Dickson, a group manager for the Scottish Fire Service, said: “The incident will be subject to a joint police and fire investigation, which is currently ongoing.”
