Thieves targeted three Stonehaven homes during a series of break-ins.
Police are appealing for information on two house-breakings and another attempted break-in last Friday.
Properties on Ann Street, Arbuthnott Street and High Street were targeted between 8.20am and 6.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said: “A small amount of personal items were taken. Police Scotland would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding these crimes or who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area during this time.
“Any person with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or, if wishing to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
